Successful team members know how to communicate effectively, manage relationships, manage themselves, manage conflict, and influence others.

These skills are our not always taught and/or valued in technically focused environments
Participants see the value and key capability in leading through change and uncertainty with a new teamwork toolset.

Participants will learn and practice:

    Effectively handling conflict will give you the edge you’ve been missing — learning about your own and others’ default styles will increase your conflict management effectiveness.

  2. Communication Skills: Self-Awareness

    An information-processing model known as the Johari’s Window illustrates the process of giving and receiving feedback.

  3. FAST Feedback – Frequent, Authentic, Specific, Tactful

    Practice this Conflict Management Workout proven to engage others with clarity, openness, compassion and behavioral skill.

Applications

The key to professional skills development is practice and application as they pertain to the skills of relationship management. It will take time in the early stages to develop these essential skills. This workshop will introduce and explore communication skills development through self-reflection, higher order thinking, metacognition, authentic learning, and cooperative group exercises.
